North West Employers’ Annual Conference – 24 July 2008

On Thursday, 24 July 2008 more than 100 delegates attended North West Employers’ annual conference at the JJB Stadium in Wigan.

The conference was opened by Councillor Alan Dean, Chair of North West Employers, and Liz McQue, Chief Executive of North West Employers, with a presentation on North West Employers' Achievements and Priorities for 2008-09.

During this excellent day, we heard presentations on Community Engagement; Employee Engagement; Investing in Skills, Investing in the Future; and Health and Wellbing.
