Skills Framework Library

A key aim of the Greater Manchester project was to ensure that there was added value and efficiency savings to authorities, and a legacy of the project was the development of a 'Skills Framework Library' where authorities may browse and borrow a framework that has already been developed.

A crucial element of the success of a skills audit intervention is the robustness and appropriateness of the skills framework which individuals are assessed against. The time and cost of getting the framework right should not be underestimated, but there is no need for every authority to start from scratch.

The Skills Framework Library, which holds more than 20 skills frameworks developed by public sector organisations, is available by clicking the link below.
