Scrutiny Officers' Network
Who Are We?
The North West Scrutiny Officers' Network is a group of officers who support the overview and scrutiny function and represent all the local authorities in the North West of England. We have joined together to share experience and issues of scrutiny best practice.
Our Purpose
To share best practice issues in this developing field of local democracy and corporate governance; to avoid duplication and maximise the resources available to assist in the development of scrutiny within our respective authorities.
The Chair of the network is Steve Sienkiewicz, Democratic Services Team Leader (Overview and Scrutiny), Blackpool Council.
