IDeA Community of Practice (CoP)

Consultation with HR professionals belonging to the Gateway showed that a discussion forum was wanted to enable you to share information and resources. In response to this consultation, and to utilise existing sites, North West Employers has decided to work alongside the IDeA to develop a ‘Closed Community’ within the Community of Practice site specifically for those who have registered with the Gateway. More details about it will be available soon!

The Community of Practice (CoP) – tHinking and leaRning SPACE for HR professionals was designed to facilitate your professional and personal development, plus helping to raise the profile of HR as strategic player at the heart of the organisation. We really hope that, through the Gateway, you will take advantage of the potential of the CoP and use it to network with other HR professionals both across the region and nationally on HR related issues. As the CoP develops there will be more resources and links to others added.

Events

Members will be able to attend regional events exclusive to the CoP. Other events of interest will also be posted.

Documents and wiki

A growing bank of documents will be stored to aid your development.

Networking Opportunities

There is opportunity to network virtually, through the Blog and face to face as and when members wish.

If you are already registered on the IDeA CoP platform click here. If not, then click here. Once registered you can request to join tHinking leaRning SPACE for HR professionals.

The Public Sector HR Podcast Show

The Public Sector HR Podcast is a new monthly online radio show, especially for People Managers in the Public Sector. The show, produced by Prized People Communications, a leading North West podcast production company, includes interviews with top HR professionals and key industry experts, who share their insights into some of the biggest challenges facing HR teams today. We are hoping that through the HR Gateway you can take advantage of these insights.
