North West Employers’ Annual Conference – 24 July 2008
Source: North West Employers On Thursday, 24 July 2008 more than 100 delegates attended North West Employers’ annual conference at the JJB Stadium in Wigan.The conference was opened by Liz McQue, Chief Executive of North West Employers, with a presentation on North West Employers' Achievements and Priorities for 2008-09.During this excellent day, we heard presentations on Community Engagement; Employee Engagement; Investing in Skills, Investing in the Future; and Health and Wellbing. The speakers were Professor Gerry Stoker of Southampton University; Damian Hughes, author of ‘Liquid Thinking; Dave Burke from the Health, Work and Well-being Delivery Unit; and Mick Forrest from Tameside MNC.
