National Graduate Development Programme
As part of the Government’s initiatives to improve capacity and modernise the sector, the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) has received funding to create, develop and manage the National Graduate Development Programme (ngdp).
The ngdp vision is to recruit and develop graduates who have the potential for senior management roles within 10-15 years.
The ngdp recruits up to 67 Trainees to join the programme each September. But the recruitment process can be lengthy, often running over six months or more, and therefore it is suggested that prospective candidates take this into consideration before making their application.
For detailed information and supporting documents for Local Authority Placement Co-ordinators and National Management Trainees, visit the ngdp forum by clicking the link below. The forum is a secure extranet available to all participants in the ngdp - NMTs, placement co-ordinators, Warwick Business School, national training facilitators and the IDeA ngdp team.
